Applicants for all positions within the company will need to undergo a criminal background check; this is carried out by the Criminal Records Bureaux after completion of a form. A medical to group two standards will also be required for drivers in order to prove fitness to drive.

We are licensed by Uttlesford District Council for Private Hire; we will require you to be licensed as a driver by Uttlesford. All costs of licensing are undertaken by 24x7Ltd however we do expect a commitment from you to ensure that we do not pay for licenses for people that do not work for us. The vehicle allocated to you will need to be parked overnight in a safe location close to your home, please ensure that you have adequate available parking within a reasonable distance from your home.

Applicants will need to attend an interview. Please bring a selection of the following documents with you to complete a DBS form. 2 from the following: Passport, Driving Licence, Birth Certificate, Marriage Certificate and 1 utility bill or bank statement showing your name and address dated within the last 2 months, we will also require your national insurance number.

If you have a previous DBS certificate please bring that along with your documents.

Passenger assistants and drivers licensed as Passenger assistants will be required to attend a Passenger Assistant training course this is an interesting and informative course that will enable you to deal with many different incidents that could occur.

Part time Drivers and Assistants required for daily special needs School transport. This is an essential part of our passengers' day and this is more than just a "school run" to them. No experience necessary. We operate an equal opportunities policy, all welcome to apply. For drivers we supply a vehicle for work purposes only and meet all relevant costs. A current DBS would be an advantage, but not essential. ALL staff will be Police checked to an Enhanced level with the local licensing authority. Monthly salary - Training given where required - Further opportunities may become available.

The majority of contracts are for 190 days per year, Monday to Friday 12.5 hours a week to include AM & PM runs during term time. Average monthly salary is £275.00-295.00 paid for 12 months. All work is on an employed basis and does not require a PSV license.
